Hispanic Alumni Council History
First Meeting – May 9, 1987
Officially Founded – July 16, 1988
The Hispanic Alumni Council was established to positively affect future generations. Ouractivities are in support of three basic endeavors—recruitment, retention and reciprocation. These goals will help many Hispanics become U-M students, remain committed to the University, and ultimately help others to do the same. Our goals also provide alumni with the opportunity to take part in exciting and important activities. There’s never been a better time to get involved.
The Hispanic Alumni Council is an affiliate member of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan.
